Hey everyone this is my journal for the dinafem auto cookies solo cup competition.

The rules are simple enough use any medium/nutes and any lights you want but the whole root mass of the plant must stay inside the solo cup (its less than a pint)

This isnt anything like my normal growing style and i dont like hand watering as sometimes i go 2 days without visiting the grow room.

So i borrowed a couple of trays from an autopot system that my mate doesnt use anymore.
Not sure how or if this will work!

Good Luck @woody

Good luck there buddy!! Looks like you got the wrong date on there? 15/9/19?
Still in Aug.
Bwaaa haaaa not only the wrong date but also the wrong month feckin stoners eh?
15/8 was the thursday before the 22/8 no excuse for the month though!

@hairyman it should do the job. Just need to make a stand to keep it from tipping if she gets big enough.

Day 2 for the auto cookies

Shes in a solo cup with hydroton. Not sure if this will wick up enough water from the autopot tray.
Might have to hand water until the roots make it down there.
Here she is basking under a 50w cob

:pass: Woody mate, interesting MO here! She's off to a solid start- :woohoo1:... possible hang-up's, the roots seeking less air and more nutes/moisture may dive down and through the drainage holes, making the in-cup root containment difficult,... is it just the cube and the rest pellets?

Yea @Waira mate i could run into trouble. I have made the holes very small multiple 0.5mm holes. I will make a stand that keeps her raised a little more.
I do have a second cup with the bottom cut out and a root disc taped in its place.
It looks a mess though lol
