Indoor Window a/c inside?

Thanks bob, ballpark is fine, as a friend of my dads says "building a room not a piano..". I have a 6500 btu and i think i have to at least try it first with the double window fan set-up and cross my fingers that it provides enough ventillation. I feel a little better hearing about your set-up but am still a little guarded as the majority warn against. I appreciate your time and input everyone. temps are ok , weather is great here now, but anyday high 90's to 100's+ til sept/oct.

look into the portable ac units they are free standing and you can pipe the vents anywhere you want to i have mine going down the central air vent

jaxl, what size ac and room? approx cost of operation? Portables aren't cheap and im just starting out but maybe down the road, I'm already overbudget for now. I think I kinda figured out this is my mid-life crisis LOL, even if it has been an unfulfilled passion for the past 25 years. Sometimes you just know you were meant to do something, unfortunately I let myself be talked out of it. Not about to let an ac get in the way now. Better late than never i guess. Igziabeher all.

Igziabeher? What did you call me? lol.

It seems to me every suggestion made here would work. I'd probably go with the window mounted, a plenum in, insulated duct hose, inline fan, into grow room and then passively exhaust out into the quansin hut. Then I'd drink some beer and marvel at the work the Hemperor has done. But that's just me. lol.

Exit, stage left...

Anyone running a regular window ac to cool an area inside a larger room? Meaning a room within a room with ac cooling inner room and running off outer room air without direct outside access. Inner room is, by pure coincidence, approx 420 cu ft and approx 1/6 or smaller the size of the room it is in. I have been finding info that indicates this will not work effectively for a variet of reasons that make sense. Wondering if anyone has first hand experience. Unfortunately i found contra-indications after room was constructed-poor planning on my part. I could add extra ventillation to outer room to supplement airflow around ac unit. Sorry to ramble, feedback appreciated as always. Thanks.
