I would day you'll be grand with 450+ and sweet with 600

With an efficient LED even 360W can be sufficient. Look at a decent ~500W quantum board and dial it back for longer life and better efficiency.

I'm looking to get a 600w hps for my 120x120x200 tent, seriously want to up grade from my cfls, I'm currently using a 125w red and a 300w blue cfl, and a T8.with 4 2ft 18w bulbs as side lighting, I'm only a beginner,
Is this enough light even for 7 plants in 7 litre pots in soil.? @Newgrow31 does the hps 600w do good for that size tent,

Indeed. I'm currently running 2 Mars TS1000's for a total of 300W in my 5' x 3.3'
