Hey @Wile e Peyote and @Vlad The Inhaler dinafem mark is running a huge solo cup grow off with their new auto cookies strain. Im going to enter for the fun of it..
Obviously doing a whole grow in solo cup is a pita watering etc. So i was thinking bottom watering or drip irrigation on timer is the only way.
What would i need to make this work with 1 or 2 autopot trays.
Is the aquavalve a float valve?
Could i buy one or two trays and run them from a normal 20 or 10 litre bucket with 4mm pipe?

You can use almost anything clean for a res just make sure you get the right sized grommet for 6 mm tubing (core size 4 mm) and with aqua valves they just fill up drain then fill up again (float valve) so your cup would always be in water, maybe a drip irrigation but then you would need a timer that times in seconds i did have a look at that thread did he mention how many solo cups you can use say stacked on each other with the bottoms torn off not so much watering but a bit cheaty [emoji16]

He never stated but im pretty sure he just means 1 lol. Only rule is roots must be contained inside the cup so i might just use hydroton and line the cup with one of them root discs
I’d be a bit worried about the cup floating when the tray fills up. [emoji848]

Yea pretty much.. sounds good on paper but might not work. Keeping it upright is a problem too. Need to make a stand for it
