Hey guys,

Take a look at how these seeds popped up. It has no cotyledon leaves. I think the tap root has surfaced rather than going towards the botton.

I have had a seedling with 2 tap roots before. One at each end. It was strange. I wonder if this is similar.

I previously had a tap root pop up naked. I dumped it.

I dug up the seed. Its definitely the tap root. I must have pressed the coco and made it hard for the tap to go down. Hence it has surfaced up.
I did turn it upside down. the leaves were being formed under neath. Really strange.

I hope this works out.

I'm sure it will be stunted now. You should probably start a new one. Make sure you don't pack the medium down. It makes it harder for the roots to spread out.

Interesting Development. It has been some years, but something odd like that happened to a photo I tried. The weirdest, the root had grown into a J shape. What surfaced was a normal lookin seedling on one side, and an extremely tiny stalk on the other topped with cotyledon, but no center growth. The taproot had made lil leaves, but the buck stopped there, it did not grow past a couple weeks before being culled. Just an interesting exercise in futility.
