You totally inspired me, iLuvIndica :dance:
Just picked up some supplies today to make my own.
Loving those inserts. I hope my local hydro store stocks them. Ooooh ya!

Im sure im not the first one who thought of it bc damn the only real on the market dwc cloner is a diasy cloner which is $98 and its only an 8 site. With $100 could get one 50 gal pump get some tubes and t connectors and you could have like 10 of those tubberwares filled with those inserts. estamating a # but roughly 150 site cloner for 100$ im on my second set of clones for the od season, im looking into making an amended soil mix that inst subcools mix that was propagandized for the big companies, anyone have any ideas for photos? i should post this in the od section lol

here are some do it yourself things that are so easy...and cost so little...

those are meat trays from the butcher shop... in the fish tank cloner I put one meat tray under the blue plastic for floatation...:D

I have used DIY sprinkler hydro for cloning and veg. always without dome. All cuttings have rooted fine. fastest one had roots coming out in 3 days and slowest (big one) took 2 weeks. I think dome isn't most, but may help with the bigger one's, because of more respiratory surface on them.

yes, the fastest way to roots is by encouraging the plant to uptake its moisture from the stem.... so if you weep then you must spray once and see if they weep again if they weep again you know you need a dome.

oh you notice that there are heaters on both methods... 70-75F premo.... I like root powder not gel... or nothing.

im currently trying the floating meat tray method... i seen this thread awhile ago but just noticed you said no gel, and i used gel, hope they still root fine

Well Im going to be running photos soon just because ill be putting some OD but i want to try to see what the strain likes wants needs inside b4 hand. Ill be running some elite genetics but before i waste some valuable seed im using a freebie. This is a WOS freebie from the tude NLxBB. Automan a member on here grew her out but never really documented the grow very well not his fault of course and the pics he had are beautiful said that she was very fruity and skunky. Thats the smells im getting skunky as hell with some fruity hints. So far i have only 6 sites cut out but as the mother develops ill be taking more. I am also using the packet of clonex gel good for like 20-30 cuttings. Anyway stuff to buy :
Water pump= High end $25 low end $10
Tubing= $2
Airstone=$2
Tubberware=$3

Above and beyond
Mondi Humdity Dome=$6
Clonex=$6
PolandSpringWater=$1

Satisfaction of Saving A lot of $ and Creating Your own $200 Cloner= Priceless

Nice looking cloner! :clap: The only thing I can't tell is whether you put your air pump above the water line, it looks as though it is under the water line. Only reason it matters is if the pump fails or the power goes out it will syphon the water from the tank back to the in-operating pump and make a mess...

I too will be making an aero cloner similar in design, God show and + rep for a good idea!
