I've used an apera ph meter for years but only for water..Keep it in storage solution and calibration lasts longer. ..My double prong meter that reads light/ moisture/ph is only used for moisture. My favored meter is a single probe luster leaf rapitest ...perfect for airpots.
Using BBLM for years, I've never checked ph of the medium but am very picky about the ph of anything going in. My target is 6.4-6.6 after nute mix. Being on well water, city impurities are eliminated.
