Who's had good results crossing autoflower?

Hi All,
I had a Lowberry from Dutchbreed, and an auto AK47 from Lowlife. Lowberry smells of berries, fat leaves, forms large, somewhat leafy buds. Fairly short. Nice, mellow high. The AK47 smells skunky/spicy, is taller, branches profusely, more sativa leaves, and forms smaller very tight buds, but everywhere. High is more sativa.

I crossed them, and planted the new f1 hybrid seeds they produced. I planted 13, and 12 came up, and only 2 male. I kept 4 female, and gave the others away. In Alaska that's legal.

One is short and has 9 sections on many of it's fat leaves, instead of the usual 7. Leaves remind me of fat, hairy spiders. Another is shorter, but looks more like the lowberry, with a larger central cola. The other two are interesting. Much taller at 27 inches than even my original AK. It's branching everywhere with the small, tight buds. What's interesting, that even though it's got the healthy grow habits of the AK, it smells like berries.

I've got about 6 weeks left, but if the finished herb is good, then this is going to be a great strain for myself. A super-healthy, easy to grow, berry-smelling-with-tight-buds, sativa-dominant herb.

Anyone else cross some strains with good results???

Didnt want to buy seeds so I had a lowryder #2 male in the cab, it pollinated my critical jack auto by dinafem, my sour crack from mephisto, and a lowryder #2. I haven't been able to grow out the seeds as I'm doing comps with other strains, bit giving a sour crack cross to a friend of mine said it was a short bush that was almost completely covered in frost, now for size, it was actually tall 36 inches pretty interesting as both lowryder and sour crack were short

results will be mixed, it depends on what your goal is whether you declare success or not.
will you get your nice Berry buds that are large but tight like the ak and with as many bud sites? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe 100%, maybe not.
some traits are recessive and some are dominant so what you cross to what has a lot to do with stability (homogenous growth) but from what I've seen in the world, generally if you cross two pretty things you get a pretty things, and two ugly ducklings still might give you a swan
chanes are unless using very stable lines like lr2 you'll get a different smoke from almost each plant with 4 of em

cool, I did the same with a purple ak auto crossed to easyryder. Unlocked a recessive trait for bein big

I had a lowryder #2 grow 5 feet tall. It's in my grow journal. I ended up breaking off the top so it would fit in my tent. I thought it was probably mislabeled, but the taste was just like the others. I got over 2 ounces from the one plant, I believe, whereas the others were under an ounce. I would have had more, but it was light-starved, since it didn't fit under my lights very well. I don't know what ancestor is tall in the lowryder #2, but something is. Interesting huh?

I did get the berry buds that are filling out now - lot and lots of them. They look like they will be tight, but too early to tell. They are slender like the AK. Regardless, I'll smoke a duckling, or a swan:Growing:

My first successful grow was breading autos years ago. Been making seeds ever sense. I miss some of my old strains Wish I would have kept some. The stuff I grow and cross with now is way different than the stuff I use to have. Might be about time to order some older strains I use to grow. Out of all the stuff I have grown over the years I do miss the original lowryder was such a great growing plant. Any one new to autos should grow this strain.
