I have some fruit flies and fungus gnats and noticed these new fellas.

Any idea what they are? I have mosquito bits coming, will this kill these as well?

it actually looks like a fungus gnat as well. Maybe a different specie than im used to or different stage of growth. Def seen some different looking bugs around. Hmm.

Do you have many of them or is it just a one or two? I'm not sure they don't look like a fly that I'm used to seeing on my cannabis plants. But a couple of years ago I had a bunch of these flies that looked like that a ton of them flying around my plants in the summertime in my basement but I don't know what they were trying to get? Or do I know what they were?. They were trying to drink the water from the pots or what I don't know.
But with fungus gants and other pests that get in the soil due to high moisture content. Instead of watering from the top try bottom watering keep the top dry for a while until they go away, keep your glue strips in there and try spraying with some Lost Coast plant therapy or the equivalent if you're not in America. You can get away with using it at about half strength to start with and if you have to increase it you have to increase it if you don't after about 3 weeks you should be fine. you can also water with this Lost Coast plant therapy as well and it helps kill what's in the soil eggs and such. Good luck bro happy growing. :vibes: :bump: :pass:
