Hello one and all i have got a bigger grow space now i have a 5ftx2ft which i need a bigger light for was thinking mars hydro sp 3000 or spyder farmer sf2000 i allready have sf1000 to add to the sf2000 i was wondering if the sp3000 would be to powerfull for the space any help would be most welcome

I would buy more SF-1000's. I like the flexibility to adjust the lights for each plant and the variations in canopy heights. I grow RDWC so i can't lift my buckets to make an even canopy. I use 5 SF-1000's in a 4x4 area. Just my opinion.

I also like more smaller lights - being able to adjust to different heights for different plants can be a nice option.

I grow with the SF1000, mars cob, and autocobs from cobshop.net. My autocobs seem to out perform everything and draw less power, and are super convenient to raise and lower depending on each plants needs.Figured I would throw another option out there for you to look at.

In my opinion Mars and Spider farmer are really jacking their prices right now in the name of "covid". I would even go as far as to look at the Alibaba "QB's" for half the price. As long as they are using the Samsung lm301 diodes and meanwell drivers it's really all the same shit. I got my SF1000 because at the time it was the cheap brand with the Samsung diodes,, it's no longer cheap.
