Indoor Which light should I get for my tent?

I'd say go for HPS from the start. Everyone I know start with HPS. Otherwise you could try to get a hold of a HPS with ~10% blue light.

Some of the better HPS bulbs, like Hortilux, have enhanced blue spectrums. I've used a 400 watt Hortilux to grow start to finish and gotten good results. Up front cost is higher but still cheaper than buying 2 separate bulbs.

I have grown veg plants and seedlings with sunmaster normal hps bulbs with no issues you dont need blue theres also son agro bulbs that are 430w that work in 400 ballasts but honestly it does not matter that much you may have slightly tighter nodes using a mh/blue spectrums thats it

Thats what i'm using is a 400watt hortilux from start to finish and my lady's love it. With my new wall covering i can see the blue in it now.

Which light would you guys choose out of the two I posted above? Thanks for your responses. I will be using a small tent in a closet with exhaust.

like the hood on no.1 but id go with the one with the better ballast but Im not up to date on us brands mine has lumen plus switch which is a good feature

Like TBM said, check Ceramic Metal Halide bulbs.
The ones from philips work on magnetic coil HPS ballasts, and they have more reds than HPS and more blues than MH. But since the output of all colours is almost equal the light appears to be very white like MH. Don't be fooled tho, theres a lot of red in there. I think they cost just as much as a good quality HPS bulb too. They save you having to buy two bulbs or inefficient dual arcs to get the most optimal light spectrum.
