Indoor When to start adding nutes?

A little more info..400w HPS..started in party cups..JUST transplanted into 3 gal smart pots..used new FFOF soil. Can I go another 3-4 weeks now that new FFOF is used?

I did read that auto should be started in the final pot though. AFTER I germ'd them in party cups. Again, first grow..this is more a learning process than anything. Thanks again for all the info!
 
 
so, anyway how are the plants liking life in the FFOF ? did you take any pics?

you mention having big bloom and tiger bloom...do you have any grow big?

No pics. And I guess they are liking the FFOF. I don't know what they would look like in any other medium(its a first grow).
I actually don't have ANY nutes yet. Will be going to the store very soon to get some. Will probably pickup all 3 of the FF nutes.

I transplanted them from party cups into 3gallon smart posts the other day..using a bunch more new FFOF. So, I am assuming that I can go another 3-4 weeks without any nutes because of all the nutes already in the FFOF...? Would that be a correct assumption?

But, going by other people's pictures they look decent. The lower/older leaves are less dark green, more yellowish than the newest leaves. No idea why.

They are alive and growing though. That's all I know for sure. LOL.

I would wait a week for organic 2 weeks for chems :smokeit:

Right, the soil will be rich. Your best bet is to watch them for the cal/mag issues that can come up. Ph and getting micro organisms up and running is more important than nutes at this point. Like you say you will feed in a few weeks with ever so small doses (so easy to burn plants in rich soil). And you probably will not have to feed them too much throughout the grow with FFOF.
 
Hey man i grow in ffof to and what i do is give the same doses most the guys are saying. But i wait till the plant starts to show me shes using a lil nitrogen and needs some more otherwise i ususally end uo burning her a little. Thats just something thats works for me though good luck bro
 
I hope I'm wrong but maybe someone can help me here... I started my girls on open sesame nutes(flowering) as soon as I saw pre flowers. I have been doing some browsing around here and I'm thinking that since I did that my plant won't veg and grow as tall as it could if I would have waited. If this is true can I do something to fix this? Maybe use something with more N? I hope I'm wrong but there is so much info on here it can be overwhelming sometimes and hard for me to wrap my head around everything.
