Hello,
is lemon haze auto supposed wrinkle up somewhat tightly when it’s ready to harvest? I really feel like I harvested my first one way too early. I planted this March 1st. Does it look healthy and maturing? I know it’s not ready with still having the white fingers sprouting, my problem is I don’t know what I would look like when it IS ready, for comparison. Can anyone help me out, please? I am really a visual person, that’s why I need a ‘picture reference’ so I can stop driving myself nuts. Thanks I’m advance! Ang

Is it still drinking normal amounts of water? Have you seen a slow down in bud swelling? Do you have a way to look at trichomes? Looks like you are getting close. Maybe two weeks? Just keep reassessing every couple days for further signs of plant senescence.

Nice job there..looks good.

Great questions. Thank you. As long as it keeps sprouting those white fingers I wait, right? Thanks so much, again
The white pistils will slow down, but they can keep pushing out even when its ready to harvest. If you are seeing several others signs the plant is ready, I would go ahead and chop, even with a few white pistils.

Looks healthy enough but has weeks to go.

When all the white pistils have changed color and gone crinkly (technical term  ) it's time to start looking at the trichomes.

Ideally you want them all to turn white and a few amber are good too.

This is a Gelato auto top at harvest. There is some minor foxtails with white pistils yet...

THANK YOU SO MUCH! :) one more question, will they feel ‘heavier’ or ‘tighter’ ? I feel like mine was really loose my first harvest. They didn’t dry tightly, either.

Depends on the strain. Some will feel quite firm but you can't use that as an indication of when they are ready.

Knowing what you now know can you say if you harvested too early the first time ?

Cheers

Perhaps it needs to be said, it's the last couple of weeks when the buds put on weight :cooldance:

Cheers
Absolutely worth stating! My last run I had to early harvest about two weeks and yield definitely suffered compared to my expected haul.
