Hi all wat is the best time to start feeding autos as I'm growing mi5 cheers

What type medium are you growing them in?

Westland mp with added John innes ph with perlite added to ph level is .6.5

Not real familiar with that mix. If it doesn't have a lot of amendments in it like manure, castings or guano, you can probably start a very mild, 1/4 strength feed at about 2 weeks. If there's a lot of amendments, then wait another week or so, again 1/4 strength and work up from there. Mi5 can be a little nute sensitive, especially in veg, so keep an eye on em.

Beal. I'm about to trial that mix (JN #1 and #3) 2:3 with my own tailored compost. It's very sandy and can compact easily without the addition of (20%+) vermiculite/perlite. The high sand content can lead to progressive-acidity since silicates are capable of aid the degradation process of organic materials. I'll write up the report in a few weeks and let you know.. If you don't mind you could post your results there also with some details of your precise composition?

Cheers muddy wats the best stuff to feed them and wat could I add to the soil mix to help

I don't know what is available to you as far as nutes go. I've had good success with Fox Farms and the General Organics Biothrive line. If you look them up I'm sure you can find something comparable.

Two ways to look at amending your soil. You can add things like composted manure, bat guano or worm castings. The castings have always been my preference. Or you can just go with a base soil and use liquid nutrients to feed. Really a matter of personal preference. I lost my source for bulk worm castings so am now growing in straight, unamended Pro Mix. So I have to now supply all the nutrients rather than relying on what is in the soil.

Cheers muddy my mp compost says it will feed up to 4 weeks I am going to get foxfarm veg and tiger bloom so shall I start feed the fox farm veg at 2 weeks or wait a bit lOnger and then feed tiger bloom when they start to flower cheers

If there is that much nutrient in your mix I would wait a little to start feeding. I'd wait till about 3 weeks and then feed 1/4 strength Grow Big, slowly increasing to 1/2 strength. Continue that through week 6 or until vertical growth stops. Then switch to the Tiger Bloom, 1/2 strength, building up to full.
