Hi, everybody! :)

I have a question about what time a day to change the setup? I have recently bought a new 400w digital ballast, and a cool-tube reflector that i plan to upgrade as soon as possible.
Now i have a 250w Hps with a magnet-ballast that i am going to use in my veg-closet, but with a 250w MH-bulb.

The guys in the growshop had forgot to pack the 400w bulb so now the project is on hold for a while. But as soon as i get that bulb i will have to put up all the lights and stuff.
Take off the carbonfilter from the exhoust-fan, and connect it to the cooltube, and then connect the cooltube to the exhoust.

Should i do this when the plants "go to sleep"? Or can i do this during the day? If so, they will be without light maybe for a maximum of 1 hour, when i put up the lights, and rewire the ex-fan, and stuff.

Can someone give me some feedback maybe. I am thinking of hanging up the cooltube for now with the 250w magnet ballast connected.

Any kind of help is very helpful. /H.

Do you change when you have the lights on? Do the plants suffer from it? I grow autos of course.

Sorry, to post a new message, but i want to know what can happen when i change the lights. How long can they be without light? And what happens when they are without it?

Your lights won't be off long enough to make any real difference. Just go ahead and make the change whenever it is convenient to you.

Okey. That´s what i thought. I just wanted someone to tell me that what i was thinking was right.

Thanks, Muddy,

/H.
