~ how long from a plant being pollinated until you get "real seeds" (i.e. dark, tiger stripe, etc.)? I'm just now pollinating an MI5 female with an MI5 CS'd female (to female pollen) & was wondering the time frame as I was planning on sending it to the "old folks home" . I'm a newbie & this is my first attempt. I'm doing the whole plant, along with an Auto Cheese, & want seeds more than smoke this time. I'll try a few branches next time when I get over my newbie mistakes.
One question I have for those who pollinate branches, do you get seeds before you harvest or flush a couple of times even with seeded branches. I figure I'll just let the plant(s) go as long as possible & then make tincture with the buds after harvesting seeds.
Any tips or tricks to this process are appreciated.
hows it going jmh? first off I would like to say good luck. I usually pollinate my auto's around 50 days and then it takes another 6 to 7 weeks to fully mature, and then a couple of weeks after the bud is dry they can be used. Oh I would also suggest pre rolled dubies with the left overs it's great for people that don't want to roll thier own.
If i pollinate a branch i usually flush as normal then chop the bud, leaving the branch with seed to carry on, then i put her back on a light bloom mix and let her go till she is practically dead.
i find this works best if i pollinate a lower limb
