Just curious into week 4 into my grow details on the environment can be found here: https://www.autoflower.org/threads/...-auto-grows-journal.68610/page-5#post-1964931

But 2 days ago I noticed brown spots on a few leaves on one of the plants. Dug through some forums and guides and was thinking calcium/mag deficiency? Or maybe that's what I want it to be, just being hopeful lol. So I went up today and got some cal-mag and added it in at half strength as I have all my nutrients this last feeding. I'd rather be safe than sorry though and ask the vets what they think?

Just to note its only the one plant so far and only a few leaves. 20181212_175723.jpg 20181212_175745.jpg 20181212_175751.jpg 20181212_175848.jpg

The LED lights are at between 18" and 24" there Bushmaster.
LED/Cob lights do seem to make the plants use up more calmag. I try to keep my lights up 30-36" above during seedling/veg stage then as flower 12-24" if I can.

Alright. Well Ill just have to wait and see how they react. Do you supplement your plants with a cal mag product and if so... Do you add it in full strength even with autos? Id hate to go to fix a problem and make things worse by accident.

This is my one nute schedule that I use. Somewhat like hydro since it has a res but they are in in the autopots which are constant bottom fed. I do use Calmag from beginning to end of grow
I use Canna Coco bricks so my precharge to rehydrate is 2 grams Megacrop , 1 gram Sweet Candy, 8mls Earth Juice Oily Cann Calmag per gallon. It will take almost 4 gallons to make up their package of 40L brick. Then before I place germed seed into pot each pot get's 1.5L of the same nutes.
Day 5 from sprout they get 500mls same nutes
Day 10 750ml-1L same nutes
Day 15 1L same nutes and turn on airdomes if you have them
Day 20 mixed up 5 gallons of same nutes for the reservoir and turned on and final top water of about 1L each from the res to make sure the pots were evenly saturated and start drawing from the tray.
Day 30 filled reservoir with Megacrop 3 grams, 1.2 grams Sweet Candy, 8mls OilyCann Calmag per gallon, 1ml DripClean per 10 Liters
Day 40 @ 4g Megacrop and 1.2g Sweet Candy, 8mls OilyCann Calmag can start adding Redline 1.2 grams per gallon, 1ml DripClean per 10 Liters
Day 50 @ 4g Megacrop and 1.2g Sweet Candy, 8mls OilyCann Calmag, 1.2 grams Redline, 0.5 grams Mother Monarch per gallon, 1ml DripClean per 10 Liters
Same till the end of grow or can drop Megacrop to 3 grams per gallon final 2-3 weeks.

People, that is a great rule of thumb.
Is there a reason to keep the light further? If heat isnt an issue dont you only have to worry about bleeching at that point? I was thinking in theory it would be ideal to keep the ppfd as high as possible without bleeching the plants.

Kept my autocobs quite a distance away during the short veg period. They sit at around 12” now with no ill effects. My open CMH sits around 18/20”. Zero light burns and they seek to live being soaked in light. Zero bleaching on my end.

Good luck!

... not Ca defc., and there's no such thing as Ca-Mg defc, it's one or the other... very different symptoms, Mg is mobile, Ca very poorly so,....
.. that wet looking necrosis looks like P defc. to me,... review your feeds, pH, ppm's for us,....
