Very Interesting Cartman. Please keep posting......I am a 20/4 man myself. eP

It is fun to see the different theories and people putting them to test. I am a 24/0 guy myself

19/5 for me, I saw so many different suggestions i decided to go right in the middle. Plus the 5 hours off is just enough time to let my electric meter to cool down. Any more or less it hasn't efficiently cooled itself.

Another thread I saw a 17/8 suggestion. Either he resets his timers everyday or that's just one dumb individual. Great thread by the way.

Everyone should pull out three of there biggest plants strongest stinkiest ones and will do a comparison of sorts. I'M in

I started thinking about it economically. I was running 18/6 before and run 24/0 now. I have about 500w of lighting per m2, an extra 6 hours of light only costs me $30 more per 90 day cycle. So if 6 hours extra each day nets me an extra 3g/m2 it makes more sense to run them 24/7.

I have been running my led lights around the clock for a long time and that is my #1 preference. I don't have electrical issues, nor do I have budgetary issues, so I pound them with light. My runs finish sooner as well as yield a littler bigger and that works best for me. I also run my led lights through a voltage regulator and my inline fan through a Variac controller. The Variac is my favorite piece of equipment in my setup.

some people that run tests, claim that the longer the dark period is the longer it takes for the buds to finish. That the life of autos depends a lot to the total hours of light they recive. I dont know if they r right, but every breeder gives you a light schedule for each strain (most 20/4) so as to finish in 60-80+ days (depends on strain). People who made test with 16/8 or more dark hrs, claim that it took longer to finish

My studies from growing at least two hundred autos all on 24/0 it is the only way to grow AUTOS I have grown many different strains too. The one thing I have not had is one led burn out yet running 24/7 straight forward motion autos need no rest period IMO
