Couldn't agree more Sniper, I hear there is a tundra auto avaliable but i don't think it's related to the Matanuska variety though.. Apparently this strain was brought from the Alaskan mountains by a crazy biker - Thought you might like this video, a smoke report from a nice chap.. Chocolate coffee flavours

i think the matanuska has a little ruderalis in it but seeds are out of stock everywhere i seen you say something bout the romulan how's the buzz on that cause that's one I've always wanted to try

In the 1970s, the Romulan was brought from California to British Columbia by a Vietnam veteran, where it was further developed on Vancouver Island. Derived from an f2 White Rhino male, breeders back-crossed 11 times to stabilize the variety at a 90 percent pure Romulan hybrid. Selections favored the more productive, more robust pheontypes over those faster maturing. Finishing times in the UK is between 8-10 wks. the Romulan genepool is now fully homogeneous and have improved vigor and productivity. I have been growing the Romulan and various home-made hybrids for a number of years due to it's relative consistency in productivity and mold resistance. Taste varies considerably - liquorice, chocolate-caramel - aniseed in undertone and some phenos have produced notably fruitier variations, although i found this to be dependent upon harvesting time ie. the longer you leave it to mature the more intense chocolate-aniseed flavors manifest.

The Romulan (meaning dent in the head) photo strain branches profusely and thus is not particularly suitable for indoor but instead performs very well in cold climates. It's very indica dominant, Romulan is short and bushy with dark green leaves and thick buds. While considered only a moderate producer, head-high capabilities are clearly an advantage with this variety. Outdoors, this plant will yield about a half-pound of tight colas. Romulan is a very potent and medicinally active, although the couch lock is likely to be difficult to maintain for most users making it ideal for all-day medicating. Medicinally, this variety has shown excellent results for chronic pain. If you grow photo strains outdoors i couldn't recommend it more

Yes it's a recent addition to my collection, will need to be back-crossed and stabilized though, really tempted to germ a couple.. the seeds are massive

Here's another i'd like to see auto'd - Hash plant/white widow derivative 'Alien Technology' a strain that came from a small village in Afghanistan via a USA solider, its a pure landrace strain and super frosty
