So I know everyone is useing airpumps to airate there water. but which one do i get?

what pump are you using and how many liters/gallons per whatever is it using? i only want to spend a max of $20 so if you want to go to www.petsmart.com and see what they offer thats where i'm going any advice is greatly appreicated.

i bubble a 1 gallon milk jug with the cheapest little
aquarium pump and airstone at wal-mart.
that way theres no foaming of nutes and no waste.

Thanks. i wanted to get a 35gal-50gal rubbermaid and fill it with water and put 2 6" airstone in there to run 24/7 I'd also like to have an extra nosel to add a hose and a few T's for extra hoses to go into 1 gal jogs with nutes. So i image I need at least a better then 35 lol

i had a dual outlet airpump
rated at 50 gallons that ran
2 DWC tubs that were about
10 gallons each.
i tried to T into 1 line and
and use a small bubblestone
for my water.
that worked, but cut way down on
the bubbles in my DWC tote.
so i put in a seperate pump for
water/nutes only.
i could have used a control valve
but, they cost as much as a cheap
pump.

Yeah i bought the cheapest one for a 10 gal tank. I put it in my one gal jug and it got stuck and broke comeing off so i bought 2 airstone and a T and like you said it didn't bubble for crap So went back to one but the 10 gal airpump for 10 doesn't bubble that much to impress me so i want to get another bigger one. anyone got a used one I can borrow? :P

We need a classified section for selling equipment and stuff like a bargin corner :p
