Hello. First grow in canna coco and dont want to spend a fortune on nutes until I have it down. Ive read however that the Advanced Micro Grow Bloom system on its own is really just a base. If one was to pick only one extra Adv' Nutes product, then what would you reccomend? Also as it pretty much just flows through the Cocco and ends up in the tray. Can I reuse the runoff?
Thanks.

I'll answer a different question.
What 1-part fertilizer can be used from seed to harvest with nothing else at all?

Greenleaf Megacrop.

Probably several other brands too.

Supplements can do more harm than good, because they often lead to over-feeding, and the ill health that over-feeding causes.

I would recommend waiting for the plant to tell you what else it needs.. Why force feed it something it may not need? The micro line should be a three part line.. Grow/bloom/micro.. You really shouldn't need much else unless the plant is asking for it. Less is always more..

Cheers Simplicio. Went to their site and checked the price per gallon chart. HUGE difference. As a new grower its freaking easy to get caught up in the Nute market. Went with ADV NUTES for the "no need to PH " feature, but it looks like a bottle of PH up and one of PH down with a 1 part like Megacrop would be shytloads easier and cheaper. Not really spoilt for chioce in Oz though. Appreciate your answer. Off to google I go.
Edit - Just ordered a 500g free sample of Megacrop(well $20 shipping to Oz). looking forward to using it. Gonna do a side by side. Thanks again for the nudge.

Cheers Prophetico. Appreciate your answer. Im as green as when it comes to growing so any help is appreciated. I'll run with it as you recommended. Might also grab a "One stop shop" fert as Simplicio suggested as well and do a side by side. Thanks again.

Mega Crop is a great alternative. Typically work bottled nutrients the few things usually missing, MC has almost everything, are silica/humic/fulvic/kelp/vitamins/aminos. Real Growers Recharge is probably the only other thing I would suggest because you get your beneficials and some of the mentioned additives.

Jeff Lowenfell's Teaming With Microbes explains the benefit and role of beneficials at the root zone.

For now though I would use what you have unless you have an understanding of why you need the aforementioned additives. Mega Crop+Real Growers Recharge would work pretty well but for now could finish up your AN nutrients if you please.

Good luck

Thanks Damien for your input. Im a gram or two a week guy so not looking to break any records. Have 2 auto seeds in canna coco pro plus.I'll do one with the adv nute 3 bottle system and one with Megacrop. Id be happy with a few grams for my first grow. After a bit of research it would seem the new version of Mega is the way to go. Have 1/2 kilo box in the mail. Just hope it gets here before the beans sprout and need nutes. Thanks again.

All the growers are always saying they would be happy for a few grams lol. I don't want you to get grams, unless you want to, is love to see you doing 4+oz and sharing weed pics like a madman. AN is just not cost effective compared to Mega Crop and has almost everything in it but RGR rounds it out well.

Check this out for a guide on growing
