Hey nizmo. You have seen a few of my grows, i used to use advanced nutes with great success but have recently been converted to biotabs just to keep things simple and still get great results.

I am using Fox Farm trio soluable on two plants and Canna A&B on the other two. I also use Canna Rhiz and Boost as well as organic Black Strap molasses for all.

I rocked out this winter with Green PLanet nutrients...not quite as good as Advanced nutrients, but they do produce a fine easy to flush line(easier to get rid of than AN).

I have seen your plants and wonder in what way they were lacking from before with AN. They look really solid to me. You were one of the ones that got me taking a second look at Green Planet for parts to the puzzle.

I just found that i had to go with much stronger nutrient mixes to keep up with the plants need. Even with autos i had to bring my mix up to 3ml to keep up with the needs. Found it easier (overall) to use AN to keep up with plant needs, though it is cheaper to use GP versus AN(3ml vs 2ml with an and GP is just over half the cost)
