What features would you like to see on AFN?

I can’t say where I would be in my first grow without AFN, but I certainly wouldn’t be almost ready for harvest, that’s for sure. There is very little I can complain about on this forum. The people and the flexibility are top notch.

I wonder if there might be a way to improve the search feature? I like to try to answer my own silly questions before I put them out there, and searching for “what is the best height for cobs” returns a lot of results that don’t apply. Of course, it’s possible I’m not using the search feature correctly.

I AFN on my phone exclusively, so I guess I’d want full functionality off the laptop/tablet.

Someone pointed me towards growdiaries at one point and there were a few things (very few) I liked. I liked being able to search for journals growing the same strain. The rest of it — no thanks. Felt like data entry. No flexibility. And the system where you make an entry in a journal and “earn” the right to ask a question? Good grief! Please don’t change to that format!

I feel the same way hon. I "search" a lot for questions, or a specific item, or person. But it always brings up a lot of stuff that doesnt ever pertain to what I was looking for. And I agree heart and soul, this is the best site out there. XOXO

How about under main forums a "GENERAL SITE HELP!" section or something? Like right now I have this...{IMG} in my signature and I have no idea how the hell to get rid of it, or where to go to even ask someone.

One thing that bugs me is that when you hit home on the top navigation bar on the forum it takes you to autoflower.net not autoflower.net/forums yet the logo takes you to autoflower.net/forums
I hate having hit home thinking I am getting to the root directory of the forums and really getting to the landing page with information that would be suited to a forum feed that I could see integrated into my page like those annying popup announcements that get shoved into the top of my screen already are. Or put it in one of the sub forums here already. Sorry I'm complaining. It's just stoner me does it all the time and even though stoner me is chill, I've wated literally 15 minutes stumbling around the home page not knowing wtf I did to get ther

[EDIT] OR how to get back to the forums. So I have to type the whole url in the top and go again. It's even clunkier on my phone than my computer because I dont use tapatalk just this browsers. But I'm about tondo an RSS feeder but I wanna give you guys the ad revenue...

Anyway, sorry I'm complaining I like the site but I doubt I'm the only one with this issue. I could have watered a seed instead of finding the forums page just a bit ago. Where was the forums? I know I smoked a lot but damn where'd they go?

I would love to be able to easily find the journals from certain members. It would be awesome to have a threads created link under each profile or some way to find the journals created. A lot of people I follow I can’t find their journals.

That would be nice. I know I have signatures and I know someone is working on the admin side to work on journals but I heard that for months now... maybe we should raise our torches and pitchforks.

Morning, my 2 cent's worth------ I've been hanging out on this site for a while. Started growing in an illegal state, was afraid the man would trace me threw my pc somehow. Any way, I have got a lot of good info from this site, I''m a new learner to this gardening, at first I was afraid to ask for help, now I live in a legal state, the fear of going to prison for 1 simple plant is gone. Didn't know quite how to navigate the site, I ask for some help, got's lot of help from lot's of people, Waira somehow put up with me, helped A lot. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A GENARAL-- ASK A STUPID, ANYTHING THAT A PERSON MIGHT HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT. QUESTION AND ANSWER THREAD. Maybe you already do?

I'd say it is Live Stoner Chat @rick-j ..you can Ask anything in there and there is Always someone with enough experience to answer..and if they can't answer you..they know the member of staff that Can..so they will tag them in for you..
