I so know what you mean living up here in Canada I look for the short season stuff also. The frost so degrades the bud.

I grow Chcolope X Jackkalope The jackalope is just a Jack Herer older type. We call it that because it rhymes. I wonder how similar it is to your Moose.

Northern boy here , so have to stick with what comes in before the frost or the hunters hitting the woods .

[Monkeypox]

Chocolate Moose kept the afghan structure more or less but changed the taste a bit to the sweeter side and the high is a combination of good relaxation (body buzz) and a more euphoric and clear head high . Took several times of crossing/backcrossing to get it stable , but like the end results . Next up is crossing with straight Mighty Mite to see if I can get harvest time shortened a bit .

This will more than likely be my last outdoor grow. After the chopper scare this year it's getting too risky. I'll have my hydro setup running by the first of the year so it will all be indoors from here on in.

There used to be a pot around called Early Marley that was an excellent type to breed to. It really shortened the season when you breed it to one of your favorites that took too long to come in. I haven't seen it around for a while and maybe no one sells seeds for it but if you could find some of those beans I feel you might like the results.

I am so sorry about you getting hastled by the copter.

Anyway give us a smoke test on whatever you have tried. I totally love the smoke tests by people who I trust their opinion. I'm really curious especially of the Pakistan Valley.
