Extraction What did I do wrong?(learning)

So I made some carts with the mass terpenes kit except they don’t look very “clean”. I did an iso wash gathered a g of hash into the bowl and mixed at 1:1 with the “pure”. I know it’s a little high I just was testing things. Anyways after cooking my solution came out pretty dirty looking and thick(basically it doesn’t move in the carts). Here’s so pics just trying to figure out where I messed up. Thanks for any help guys.

I "think" i figured it out. I ordered the "Pure Starter Kit: Convert Isolate Powder to Oil". I think this is to just turn your powder to oil, then you are supposed to mix the "liquify" solution with it to make it thinner. Thing is they didn't send any with my order. My fault as I assumed that the starter kit was all i needed and that it says it makes oil I assumed that it was oil right to the cart, as per the instructions on their page. Sounds like your iso wash was too long. Iso is aggressive, cold as possible, everything, packed in dry ice best. 30 to 40 second washes.
The longer its left, the more waxes and lipids are pulled out.

Honestly I haven't had an iso wash that didn't need additional work to be "acceptable " in a cart. Even when wash is real short and product is gold, the waxes tend to clog the ceramic wicks of the 510s I've got.
If I winterize in everclear, problem solved... but then why not use everclear for the extraction...

I believe you did order the wrong product. Here is what I bought and it is on sale. I use an Everclear wash to make my concentrate.

If using QWISO (something I would not touch with a ten foot poll) It needs to be winterized and then filtered through a [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] Buckner Filter Then dried properly in a vacuum chamber. Then you make it into a cart.

I use rosin directly now but before I used QWET. I don't have a vacuum chamber so a little ethanol remained in the QWET and it caused problems in the cart. It carries waxes that clog and burn the cart.

I am a tester for MassTerpenes and they have a shipment of products for me to test that should arrive by tomorrow. I will be doing an in depth test of their various products in their thread soon. I will not be doing QWISO.

Thanks for the help guys. So I email mass terpenes and they said that it would come out thick with the products I used. I did, I think, wash my trim for longer than intended. I used a bunch of trim at once and I think my wash sat with the bud too long. I gave one to my friend to try he said they were good. I just didn’t like the color.
I did freeze my trim and iso overnight before I washed. I’m going to try again using some different methods. @Mañ'O'Green id like to see what you are testing with them. I think their products are awesome from what I’ve used so far! Thanks for the help guys!!
