I still drink my coffee:coffee:, but sugar wrecks me. So does dairy and gluten. A bowl of ice cream, and my joints ache all the next day.
Dairy and sugar are killers for me. But, good itself right now for is sort of an enemy. That's why I go for pre digested food whenever possible. I also supliment with betaine to help get stomach acid up, that helps loads. I thought my doctor was nuts when she told me to stop antacids and take betaine with each meal. But, that one thing helped my digestion more than anything else.
 
Betaine hci and nag ,n-acetyl glucosamine, big joint pain moderators when taken together. They help your body manage blood sugar amoung other things.

I get just the opposite reaction from weed. Indica gives me munchies and sativa keep me thin. I actually have six pack abbs just from eating less.

I found I need allot of suplimentation and at least two good protein drinks a day. Usually, morning and bedtime. I also take 200 billion pro biotics a day. Most "food' in America is anti pro biotic, hence the value of Miso, Sauerkraut, etc

Knocking out as much sugar as possible is very important. Are you drinking coffee? That's my biggest stomach upset, so I use a low acid high anti occident coffee.
roger that about the coffee, low acid and light roast. the more the oils are heated the less digestible they become. Commercial coffees(hills bros, etc) always give me a gut ache

home made sauerkraut sets me straight when I wack myself out; like eating nothing but half dried caribou meat for a couple of weeks after the harvest, lol

Half dried caribou sounds like its pretty tasty. I dunno if caribou has the same taste as a white tail, but I haven't had any venison in years. Would be excellent for putting on a lil weight.
 
There are many suggestions here for getting the gut workin correctly, so here's one. - Siberian Pine Nut Oil. I used to have some terribly painful ulcers about 8 or 9 years ago, anything that wasn't bland would have me gasping. Hot and spicy foods, peanut butter, alcohol, you name it. I didn't go to a doc because I didn't want a lifetime Rx to deal with. lived with ulcers for a year, found the oil, rid of ulcers in less than a month. I believe the company is Siberian Tiger Naturals about 30 usd a bottle, but you'll never regret it. It is virgin pine nut oil so its very light on the pallet. Like a breath of the forest with each spoon.
