Went by the book produced about 500 seeds and not one germinating???

Don't freeze them unless you are sure you have got the moisture in the seeds down to near zero.

A seed which falls on the ground is never dry, and freezes. Freezing will only dry a seed further. Freezing seeds is a good practice, at any moisture content.

i let my plants dry for at least 2 weeks in a very dry climate , 25% rh and never more then 30 % , if you think they are falling off or not the seeds will be ruined by plucking them off the plant if there is even the slightest bit of moisture left in the plant

so after 2 weeks of drying on the plant i then let the seeds alone dry for at least 2 more weeks before storing them

so thats a minimum of one month

best of luck with future attempts and peace

Totally agree, I made a mistake of pulling off one small branch and removed some seeds from their calyx..big mistake. The next few days i noticed the seeds started cracking and splitting open, ending up throwing away the branch and seeds.
