Weird to me... help please

Awesome looking setup bro! Well done. I wish I could go all out. Only decriminalized here and that would push limits.
I am happy with my little 4x4 and get it done that way. To each his own:bighug:
Like I said not for everyone. That is the beauty of this forum; hundreds if not thousands of ways to get the job done :jointman:

The aeration from the air pump/airstone is dissipating calcium carbonate from the water. This is what causes the PH to rise as Calcium Carbonate is a PH buffer. A circulating pump will do the same thing but at a slower pace; depending on the surface movement. It makes it harder to maintain a PH. I use a top off tank and aerate and PH my water ~ 6.1 before it gets to the nutrient reservoir. This gives me a very stable nutrient mix for fertigation. I let the PH wander from 5.7 to 6.2 in the res.
That's about what I do(except mb the airstine ...pump combo)

I appreciate all the info i can get.
I'm srry if i wasnt clear b4 but i honestly believe that this issue wasnt a ph problem.
Had to be splashed from the top down... possibly when i maneuvered hose on my pump. But besides turning off air pump (well after the issue already subsided) and i didn't really change anything.
