Velokelp and branching huh. Wondered why my girls r so branchy. First time using remo and these girls r just nice and branched out well. One split at the first or second node on its own to create twin peaks. But all 4 r pretty branchy compared to what I normally get. I honestly thought it was the nature’s candy that caused them to branch but there was no scientific thought process behind that. Lol.

@Mizzo81
Remo Nutrients stated on their site that is good for soil, hydro, and spray. So I tried on my first grow (I did on AFN) and man Short Stuff HBD was branching all over the place. Usually after I misted heavily for a few days. Just an awesome product. I also use Nature’s Candy through the whole grow. Most Remos calculator does not start using Nat. Candy intill Flower. But found it’s really beneficial during veg also. Feeds beneficial bacteria and fungus in the root zone, improving uptake, and helps micro flora levels. Remo Nutrients (for me) is a brand I will be using over and over again.

And what is your measurements for VeloKelp to H2O and how much (in bottle)?

(Some of the info I did take off Remo Nutrients website)

My first grow journal that has my review of Remo Nutrients VeloKelp on page......6
I give a little bit more of a review about Velokelp and Nature’s Candy. And can kind of see how the branching went. Just some info to put out there, hope it helps others who may be interested.

I am very curious about Cyco Platinum Series. Everything I researched, I saw nothing but great results, and with less salt build ups, a PLUS for hydro growers. The only negative thing I have heard about Cyco is 1 bottle of additive, Supa Sticky. My hydro shop says it works and does what the bottles says, but there are better products for that area, on the market. We will see how Cyco holds up.

This run is to get used to Cyco nutes. My next grow I might do an official Remo vs Cyco for the Cannazone run. If no one has done one yet.

I haven’t used it as a foliar spray but I start giving t to them as soon as day 5. Started at like 3ml per gallon and have gone up to 8ml per gallon. Even if the plants look like they want a straight water I’ll give velokelp. Maybe twice a grow sometimes they always want more lol.

Oh forgot about this part too. When I do a heavy misting through out the week, I do not add VeloKelp to the rez. And I will spray as often as 3-5 times a day for about 2 weeks (between water changes)

Try it sometime. Have to stick with it though. Does wonders for me. And no matter what nutrient line up I stay with, VeloKelp will always be there for me, for misting. I have even used it to water seedlings (only with HBD) in the dome while waiting for it to germ. No burns or anything crazy happened, seemed like a faster growth during this period, but could of been me too though.

Weird leaves on this girl. Don’t know if it’s a mutation or environmental stress of some sort. If anyone knows what this is or have heard of this, please comment. This one stinks and is strong. Yummy stinky goodness hopefully. The "Wierd" leaf parts feel different than regular leaves. Rougher to the touch, as in dried crinkly texture to it. Hard to explain but not that its a bad thing (kinda is maybe). Where I did pull some leaves, the smell shows up. This girl reeks the smell. Growth wise not there yet, but this smell is super strong. Leaves are of good color also, just under developed looking and wrinkly. Don't know, has me on a stump pondering. SHE MAY BE THE "THAT GIRL THAT DOESN'T GROW RIGHT, BUT SUPER POTENT". Or has another genetic trait that stands out.

This girl is doing amazing. 2 tops coming through where I topped yesterday, right on schedule. Excited about this one! There is a faint odor coming from her, and it’s not a bad odor, fresh green skunky goodness!

Did some super cropping again to promote branching growth. Unique smell to her. But if she is anything like she smells, should be strong. Everything is right on schedule. Branching on this girl is everywhere.

**In the background of the pics is a 1 foot kabab skewer. About 2 inches is roughly in the ground, for support during seedling. Forgot to take it out (even right now its still there), oh well. So, the Mystery Bean is roughly about 12 inches. Maybe a bit taller because, the two mains that were super cropped are 1.5 to 2 inches above the skewer.
