So I'm growing in 3gsl fabric pots and I'm watering 1/2gal every time I water even when adding nutes. I use a sprayer with the tip off to water so it's a slow add. But I never have any run off should I be watering more and less often. So as to get run off or does it matter?

Depends on your medium and type of food...

Generally speaking some run off will decrease the changes of a salt build up.

I'm in ProMIx HP, 3 gallon fabric pots and using Mega Crop one part, in late veg onward they take 1 gallon every two days with barely any run off.

A wet/dry cycle is needed to produce a healthy root ball. In other words, do not water until you pick up the pot and it feels light.

Then water to run off...

Cheers

I think I might try 1gal and see how much runoff I have and check pH,EC,TDS and see what it holds in the soil.

My plants are all in 3 gal cloth pots. Once they get established, I end up watering them with a gallon every 2 days. They’re usually close to dry when I water.
