Watch those connectors!

Woke up to a dead light this morning.So after work i did a bit of troubleshoothing and found an overheated connector often use on all brands from China.Could have been worst.All voltage and wattage were spot on,2 years old.
Recheck voltage and wattage after shorthening wires and 2 wires twist,all is fine.

Yikes, nice save. That could have gone badly.

ALWAYS have a smoke detector in that room and if you must use connectors use WAGOS. No bare cooper visable outside of the connector and no clamping on insulation. Good luck !
