New Grower Wasting time

So yeah, ever since the server stuff I have not posted. Summer got in the way and things are slow for a few weeks. Keep a little something going but not a complete journal but figured I’d pop in and show what’s currently going on. Little of this and a little of that. I usually grow multiple strains but last grow focused on five Forgotten Cookies. Now back to a mixed bag of crap.

So I tried some photo period Blue Dream and they are flowering now. Tried twice to get clones from a fifth plant that I never flipped. That’s not working out to well. But the four I flipped are doing great. Have had huge 9 finger thin sativa leaves the whole grow. Plants have been super resilient to my abuse. Not switching to photos but may run a second room just for them. I think they may be the best way to shorten the perpetual intervals.

And a few autos gaming in the other room for now. A few beans trying to get up also. Here we have two Fast Buds six shooter in the ends at about five weeks and the one in the middle is a Mephisto Ripleys OG at 3 weeks. Give or take. First time for both strains.

Got another Ripleys at 7 days out of frame and trying to get a GG4 and a Gold Glue to open up and get some tots down but not holding my breath. Should have some Wicked Pissah beans here in a day so may just pop them. Skunk [HASHTAG]#5[/HASHTAG] and The Fog. We’ll see how they look when the arrive.


So that’s that. Still alive and still growing.

Well the Blue Dream photos are in full on flower. I did manage to get clones from them so we will see back to backs in that and then into a heavy indica for that room come November. Six shooters are s weird plant to me, hope they aren’t shit genetics. Plant is very open with mostly 3 leaf fans. They are a good size bush with lots of buddies and building fairly well but honestly they are just ugly scrawny bitches. The Ripleys OG on the other hand one shaping up to be a beauty and I’m impressed by her. Other will be average they are just starting to preflower. And I did get the seeds in from wicked Pissah and have two that broke ground today but are just still think about whether they are ready for those Quantum Boards. Not there fault as I’ve been killing seeds left and right being to busy to focus on what I was doing.

Really cool pictures with all that would probably be better than me just rambling on. But very happy about my first successful vape cartridge, and my first successful or not use of concentrate in a vape. I had no idea about the secret clicking ritual required to work the silly thing. So I just kept clicking and holding a inhaling. And now I can barely focus on typing and am pretty sure I won’t be able to take a picture for sheet if I tried. When I can convince my legs that they are part of my body and can actually move then I’m going to try and get the girls all some molasses that I made for them before the vape experiment.

Oh and I do have a FB Gg4 that a reversed and plan on pollinating some of these girls. I had moved him outside but he just wasn’t getting enough sun. So I’m taking a huge risk but he’s in the auto room. Hoping I’ll be able to catch him and separate him at the right time or else I might have more seeds than I need. But if going to make more cart oil then guess I can just dry sift and press it all into rosin so not that worried.

At least most pictures are the right way. Had to force myself to feed the girls and grab some pictures.
These first two are the very strange six shooter. I have no expectations or idea what will happen but as long as they are healthy I’ll let them enjoy some light.

And the big Ripleys OG in the corner. Pretty sure I like this plant already. First time run so not sure what to expect.

Little sister, maybe a week slower and just trying not to disappoint, using 8” net pot in a 8 gallon DWC

So in the middle I got the Wicked Pissah fog in the green germ box. My reversed GG4 is on the ground in a 1 gallon fabric. And just hanging out in a root root is a lone Blue Dream Cline with no home.

Her friends all got transplanted to a mini DWC shelf garden. The best four of these will be flipped to 8 gallons and 12/12 in 6 weeks about. Bout to start a Mega Buds Fast Master photo that will run behind these. I’ll stsrt a single seed now and grow firvthe six weeks, then clone and veg while these Blue Dream are in the flower room. I think I’ve decided running a photo room and auto room is the best way to utilize space and time. Constant running a small veg shel for photos in my auto room and keeping a photo room on a 8-10 week rotation. Keep the photos overlapping with the autos and I should be manageable.

Here is the second room running 12/12. Cobs on HSO Blue Dream CBD. First ever photos for me so these four were all experiments in light height intensity and lollipop techniques. Even slapped some super cropping on them. Just wanted to know what they could do.

All plants are receiving some random mixture of Mega crop. Also some bennies Myco and molasses and epsom

So I’m still wasting time. I have officially killed all my Wicked Pissah The Fog seeds. I had good luck with Jiffy pellets for seed starting but since I have been getting healthy taps and then as soon as I put in the pellets they die. I have decided to try the Grodan rockwool to start. I’ve got four healthy Mega Buds Beast Mode Autos that have 1/2” tap roots that went in this AM. PH soaked to 5.6 with some GH rapid start. Fingers crossed.

I then have the Mephisto Ripleys OG girls. Big one on the left is about 36” around and the one on the right is 24” about a week behind. First time running Ripleys but have always had good luck with Mephisto so I’m sure these will be great. They have been on Megacrop and this week started a little added GH maxi bloom and molasses

Fast buds six shooter, still think they are some ugly girls but they are very healthy and bulking up now so I think they will produce. About 24 around each, and 18” tall. Unless the smoke is out of this world probably won’t run again.

Roots on the clones are taking off and the top growth on these feels like it’s about to take off. Blue Dream CBD photo clones.

And here is the experimental photo first run of the Blue Dream. All had different treatments to try new things for me but all are very healthy and they are drinking a gallon a day. Heavy nutrients in the reservoir and they are bulking well. Some fox tails as I had temps above 90 for 3 weeks. This run will primarily be used for my experiments with rosin and vape carts.

Stil wasting time but as soon as those Mega Buds take off I’ll get the journal going. Made a rough frame for my Diy dab press that will be part of the new journal.

Yeah the Blue Dream are a sativa leaning hybrid I think. They are from four seeds and all a bit different but one has huge skinny nine fingered fan leaves. She smells like a sexy California girl. Makes me thinks of the smell of coconuts and the sea hibiscuses that grow along the shore. But probably just my imagination. It’s definately a sweet citrus of some sort .
The group of four test plants are doing well enough that I think I can make the next four behind them perform a bit better. Gonna keep them shorter and really push the nutrients earlier than I did.

So my seeds are in the rock wool now for about 24 hours and they had taproots when they went in. Will be checking on them later today. I might have left the cubes a bit to moist. But I guess we will see. First time using these so time will tell.

In the mean time I was able to waste some more time finishing up my DIY press frame and 3 by5 Dabpress plate kit. Super heavy duty frame. And a 20 ton jack. Comes right up to temp and ready to press. I have a bunch of Forgotten Cookies kief that I might try tomorrow. But I do have to get some parchment paper. Can anyone tell me what’s the best I can get, don’t want to screw it up at this point.
Paint job is just temporary until something inspires me. This was some leftover faux anodizing paint that I didn’t use. Good enough to keep the rust of it.
