This is my first time trying a Mephisto strain and also my first time using a soil mix. I'll be growing 6 Walter Whites and 1 Heisenberg (freebie). My set up is:

600w HPS with cooltube
5" CAN fan with acoustic ducting for exhaust
No intake fan
CAN carbon filter
1.2x1.2x2m tent
Oscillating desk fan inside the tent
Small humidifier
18l pots with a mixture of plagron lightmix, guano, coco and worm casting on the bottom 1/2. Top half is coco, lightmix and perlite.
Lights will be run 20/4

I also have a proper reflector for the cooltube but wont be fitting it until the seedlings are a few weeks old as I don't want to burn them. All I'm waiting for is a reducer to connect the filter to the cooltube and the seeds to germinate. They are currently in Eazy Plugs for the last 48 hours at 24.5℃

I sure hope these Walter Whites get their ass into gear once they sprout. The only Heisenberg I germed sprouted in 72 hours but after 110h I have only one WW and another is poking through the soil now. The one that did sprout, I had to remove the shell with tweezers.

OK maybe I should move back to the new growers forum because I haven't been having much luck this time round!! :frowny:

Only the first WW survived and it looks like it isn't going to grow at all. I germed some more WW using the paper towel method, along with another Heisenberg. I put these in the eazy cubes and placed in the propagator. Heisenberg #2 popped up pretty quickly and is doing fine but the others are not looking good. I'm now left with 4 WW and 2 Heisenberg. Hopefully I don't lose any more because I've 6 pots waiting!!

The two Heisenbergs are coming along nicely. The Walter Whites are a bit slower but the one in the back right of the first pic was a mutant and I didn't expect it to survive at all. Hopefully they catch up!

The two Heisenberg specials are doing great, so I've just sprouted another two! I'm gonna take out one of the Walter Whites to make room. Which should I remove? I was thinking the WW3 because it's on day 27 now and still not really thriving. I was afraid my soil mix is a little too hot, turns out it is! The Heisenbergs handled it OK, they clawed a little but then exploded with new growth. The Walters are still clawing badly and the new growth is deformed. I guess they have been stunted from the start and weren't ready for the hot soil in the lower 1/2 of the pots. I'm gonna concentrate on getting a good yield from the Heisenbergs this grow and make a fresh attempt at the Walter White in a few months.

Gotta see how "Walter White" seeds turn out, it's a must, man Subbed [emoji14]op:
I haven't got the greatest of hopes for the Walters I'm afraid. They were stunted from day 1 and didn't like my soil mix either. They are doing OK(ish) but will never reach their potential.

I've already taken one out and put a fresh Heisenberg sprout in its place. The Heisenberg are an awesome plant but looks like they will be quiet short and bushy. They seem to have started growing buds at less than week 4. Can't wait to find out what they are gonna be like [emoji16]
