Cheerz Bunny, nice to meet ya and thanks for the welcome. There's not as much weight on the GSC as I'd aimed for, but after a couple of thrip infestations, I changed the soil to Biobizz Allmix. Back on the bug ridden stuff now with added fly traps, hopefully I'll catch the bastards before they get a hold!

I assume you're a lady by the name, not many women on these male dominated (sausage-dom) forums eh?

Cheers Scally! It's a bit damp down there so I do suffer from loss of smell with the less stinky strains, the tent keeps the bud rot at bay tho.... It's well hidden and temps are steady tho, can't complain! [emoji2][emoji1360]

Nice to see ya butty! Hey... I'm only 12 stone ATM, but I still strip butt naked and coat myself head to toe in goose fat before I even think about going down the trapdoor, it's safer that way... Righto peeps... Quick update,

One seed has germed with a long root, (about 20mm) and the other is a no show as yet, so I soaked a new pip in a glass of water til it sunk.

Both have gone into root riot cubes (mainly so I know where they are), I had to split the one for the rooted seed.

I mixed the soil, as of Mr Beefheart's trusty recipe, Verve tub & basket compost, a heap of perlite and a few spoons of lime.

Water pH'd to 6.5 and under a chopped off bottle for a prop.

Here's the label for the pots... They're good..

And here's the plants..

I'll stand them on the big pots as soon as I see them pop up. [emoji2]

Those pots look great and I have been seeing quite a few older growers (By this I mean not old as in age but been around the block where growing is concerned)So will be very interested in how they perform.

Hey... You be careful, Mrs Vlad can be a bit vicious at times!

Yeah, the loops are for cane support, I've never put a cane in them tho, I prefer yoyos. I have to step down into the tent so the yoyos help me avoid losing an eye when moving the plants about.

The pots are good tho, I've been using them for a couple of years now... tried airpots and they dried out a bit too quickly for my liking. These are a bit less demanding for the lazier grower!

Lil update for ya....

We have life in one pot...

.. She went a bit lanky so I've topped up the soil and stood her on a pot, nearer the lamp..

Signs of life in the other one..

... You probs can't see in the pic but the root riot cube is slightly split and I can see the seed, root must be forming.

The other pip decided to pop today..

.. She looks a bit wonky and I'm kinda committed to the one in the pot, so she went in the bin. [emoji22]
