Thanks Charlie.

Check out Baylee420 s Nirvana NL that was just chopped. It was masterfully LST'd into a POM nominee this month I believe.

These guys have ways of jumpstarting their girls from the get go.

Thanks for the reading material man. I started to LST but wasn't sure if i was doing it correctly, so after reading this stuff i'm sure i'll find out. Thanks again.
I'm gonna post more pics in a couple of days.

Day 23

After reading up, I changed my mind and decided to post to show you guys and get opinions on how i've been LST'ing for the last 2 days. 1st 2 pics are of my first lady and the other 2 are of the mistress.

You still got the tops. Good sign.

Charlie your off and running man. Those bottoms are popping like they should and they both look lush.
Look like clones, nice and compact. Good genes.

Thanks Feenix, just want to do right by them so they can do right for me.

Alright my people... Ive encountered my first real problem in my grow. About a week ago I saw, what i believe to be a fungus gnat, and brutally murdered him. I became super concerned and aware of my watering and waited until the soil was uber dry until i watered again which was 3 days ago I believe. Havent seen another since.
Today I woke up then checked my babies out and began adjusting them like I always do. Noticed the soil was pretty dry but had some moistness under the first knuckle deep. My intentions where to water it on Sunday so no big deal. Towards the end of my leaf adjustment out jumps a single fungus gnat.

I can not find his funky ass. So i let him live... for now... and did some research on my favorite forum HINT HINT. What is a guy to do?

I read a few threads on tobacco juice as an organic pesticide for every pest that could be a potential problem. So i went out and purchased some organic tobacco and made me a weak mix cause i was frightened by the various responses given by members. I boiled it and all that good stuff. But havent applied it. I want your guy's opinions on the matter, you guys havent steered me wrong so far so come on with it.

Tobacco Mosaic Virus.
I wouldn't do it. Why chance it?
Azamax would be my recommendation for bug control.
I use it every 10-14 days as a preventive maintenance.
It wont keep Rick James off your couch, but it will control the bugs.:Sharing One:

Thanks for the input Ronin, you're right there is risk there. Azamax it is. Now I just have to wait to get paid and then order it. Is there anything I can do in the mean time other than the watering precautions I've been taking?
On the bright side I have a pouch of organic tobacco, even though I don't smoke tobacco. Lol.

Update: stared at my plant, meditated at it... And Mr. Miyagi'ed the fuck out of that gnat from earlier. Except with a soup spoon instead of chopsticks.
Game... Blouses.

Edit: Went back in being a nosy parent and all, and theses are not gnats they are thrips... Is Spinosad the way to go or still azamax? Thanks for the help in advance guys.

Day 25

Thrip Check Two One Two... Dreaded to check today, but did and did not find one thrip or any insect. My soil is dry-dry so tonight instead of tomorrow i'm gonna give her some water, no nutes. Still gonna grab something to deter them or kill any that may be real good hiders. Also removed my LST yarn strands just in case if they are there I will see them before they see my spoon coming. Other than that business as usual.
