Cheers everyone and especially northern growers! My first grow - as we have a large garden (albeit not fully private) with some mid-day direct sun, I decided to experiment and combined LED+sun for my virgin grow in a 3x4feet plastic tent. Nights are 6-9C and daytime is 15-19 this week. 2in & 2 out vents keep the inside cool, so I have a fan heater kicking in at 18C. Doing white widow auto in Biobizz soil. 15 days from sprouting. I guess it is too cold to keep it at 18-20 non-stop (is it??), but to get it to warm up I either have to slow down/stop the venting or boost the heater to maintain it. Worried that I will fuck up with this frankenstein set up.

The led in the greenhouse only makes sense if you use it at night.
During the day, even a rainy day the sun will always outperform any artificial light and I mean any light!

I read that your garden isn't fully private. Be careful with that as lights not only attract moths at night.
Within a couple of weeks you can make use of the greenhouse without all the energy consuming devices. Maybe you can keep them indoors until then? They seem small enough to keep hidden somewhere in a closet or something else? At least, that's what I would do...

thank you for your support @Bob's Auto's ! After watching Edu videos, I am thinking I will keep LED running outside of direct sun hours, 6am to noon and 8pm to 2am, giving it a 4 hour blackout, though I see many claim autos do not need any rest.

And the first night outdoors came the first FAIL! - heater thermostat went bust in the middle of the night. I need to look up what gear people use to automate ventilation and heating.

It happens dude. But 12.9°C is still ok. They can survive that.
