Sounds like you are going to have lots of good times. I find that my homemade edibles tend to be quite Stoney. Probably because I start with a heavily Indica dominant strain and use it mostly to help with sleep. I imagine that Fugue Indica will be more up/ social, even though it is a more Indica pheno. Interesting to hear.

My GF and I had one each earlier and not much tbh.......but!!...we have been chonging all day and I did make a couple of mistakes....oops lol ....but in my defence, these are my first EVER brownies so im not worried.....we are going to try again, same dose 1 brownie each, tomorrow lunchtime - ish, with a fresher head......and still further than that.....still a damn fine brownie lol

Too funny! I’m sure you’ll dial it all in. I find an empty stomach to start works best. They kick in about a hour later. Difficult to assess if you are already baked!

nice buns remember folks ya cant overdose on cannabut edibles is the most fun way to try +1 on the kief :smoking:hell of a lot easier worked with,dosnt reek like weed cooking,nor has it that gagging action decarbed weed tends to have on me.

@Vapo69 , Bro, you did decarb the kief? When I make cannabutter, I decarb at 230 for 40min. before I add coconut oil, rebake for 40 min, add some sunflower lecithin, freeze it for 2 hours, allow it to reach room temp, put back in oven to get it liquified, strain and it’s ready. Can be made months in advance to have at the ready.Thats with bud though!

...that taste/gag reflex from weed cooking is what put me off edibles for so long....kief cooking rules and thanks dude lol

I’ll check it out ! I’d like to make edibles with kief rather than bud too. I don’t mind weedy taste but the majority of folks don’t want to taste it. Don’t know how you avoid sugar in brownies...maybe apple sauce as partial substitute.

You can try using coconut sugar, it doesnt taste like coconut, much healthier and has a dark taste that will lend itself well to cooking with chocolate. I try to avoid refined sugars as they flare up my Fibro and it's the best one I've found although it can be a little pricey. Holland and Barrett, Whole Foods etc carry it.

...yeah dropping the weedy taste is a must....kief is much easier, makes it a much quicker process.....there is a product called Xylotol which is a sugar substitute, its made from Birch tree bark, we went sugar free with no probs with this before...and its suitable for diabetics and vegans......WARNING!!!....THIS PRODUCT IS NOT SAFE FOR DOGS.....IT WILL KILL DOGS......I had to put this as apparently a few peanut butter companys have started to use Xylotol in their recipes, people please check this before giving PB to your dogs
