Update....fed today and slept on the "more ties" idea last night......wasn't comfy so im not doing it lol.....they are just going up from here on in(this may change!)......if they look droopy in the pics, it's just because I have pushed all the leaves down....they were all up praying when I went in, and some leaves were shading growth shoots....and rather than cut them, I just gave them a gentle bend downwards......they will be back up soon and I will HAVE to chop them in a few days :smiley1:
Hola all........I hope you are all doing well and are tuning into the GoTY comp......where yours truly :smiley1: is making an appearance for Zamnesia(voteformevoteformevoteforme)and LOTS of top growers will be there too, all battle stations go ....anyway lol...today I took the right hand leaves that were left(?)and I have included a before and after pic of said leaf taking..........and a couple of pics of how I do my wire ties.....it's pretty easy and i'm trying to put down everything in my journal.....not because "its how you should and its the best way".....but so hopefully, it can maybe help others.... and me too, if anyone has improvements on what im doing:smiley1:.....here are some pics and thank you for reading
Pic of a tie that needs tightening.....
Bend tie to about 90° and you can easily pull the tie to the side, without pulling anything too tight or far to get it out of a hook.....
bend a new 90° angle in the wire a bit further down and put back in place....
...and the double hook technique....NOT for beginners
