Illuminauto no.32 - Forgotten Strawberries

Genetics: Strawberry Nuggets x Fugue State
Seed Type: F1 Feminised Automatic

Mini Description:
Forgotten Strawberries, just knowing the parents involved is set to be banginglygood. These two new artisanals as stand-alone strains are fantastic, and we think this will be a perfect match ofindica/sativa, lemony spicey hazey terps combined with sweet succulent strawberry-dank berry should providesomething super special and generate the stickiest of the icky. This should be another fine fine strain to smoke flowersor utilise in extractions for an amazingly high quality outcome.

Plants will be medium in size, a nice indica/sativa blend but with the potential for very respectable yields.

Plant size - medium
Cycle time - 70-80 days from sprout
Indica/Sativa - 50/50
Frost level - Iced out

Straight from the horses mouth
Thought you were growing Fugue State... not Forgotten Strawberries. Hence the error. You are correct. Now it makes sense .

Update dudes and dudettes....done a few more tie downs on the FC, the six I start with are now on and just resting on the shoots really....they are young so....kid gloves with them........ for now :muahaha:.......The FS are doing well....getting frosty and looking fatter, just like they should be doing, gone back to 4 litres for the FS....3 litres is the perfect amount..:thumbsup:...but only if I fed at the same time everyday....by removing a litre I also removed my wiggle room.:woohoo1:....anyway lesson learnt and wiggle restored :rofl:...I tried to remove clashing leaves and shaded, underneath leaves....I have kind of chopped some holes in the canopy for fresh air..you will see in the pics....in the pics of the FC, you can see how I have shaped the hooks to twist the end of the main and expose the downward facing node....its a bit early for this really and I wasn't happy with it after I took the pic, so I went back to just a hook over each main and I will re-apply them to twist in a couple of days time when she is a bit stronger....some pics for you......oh im sure I have mentioned before I have severe ADHD and you will see what happens when I get distracted lol on the FC:crying:View attachment 1006156 View attachment 1006155 View attachment 1006154

Thank you for reading:thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks:

Yo dude back, do you use any foliar sprays? I see all the stems exposed to light, just curious if you spray them with Kelp Meal or compost tea or anything like that? Archie asked if you were following VPD, but it sounded like you weren't. How much water do you use weekly roughly, in liters or gallons or whatever I can do the math, mixing your DP lineup? I'm only curious because I used to NOT follow VPD or know about it and I used A LOT of water. I like mixing it and taking PH readings and so on, but it is time consuming and wasteful somewhat. Anyhow, now that I use water only soil, which isn't always an option for everyone, my waters has gone down drastically since I foliar feed and keep my RH within VPD parameters, they basically get enough from the air being slightly humid to alleviate the need for so much water and nutes. Just a thought. You said you don't follow through but with growing weed, so you should look into that.

I’m about to do a solid defoilage tonight. Day 15 of flower. I don’t know if I’m suppose to spray them after ? I see what you said about the rh. It’s a good point. So would it be wise for me to do a 70% defoilage rather than 80-90%? Hope I make sense. I’m quite new

I would tuck the leaves as much as possible and ONLY take off what you have to. Like maybe 5%, the less the better, they are your plants solar panels, the more you take off (unplug) the less quickly they can convert stuff (charge their own batteries) into energy right? I would only spray them with a compost tea at that point, at least until you feel confident that your air circulation is good and RH dialed enough to let things get wet for a short while. But spraying with foliar sprays only works when you are within VPD because the stomata are open in those conditions and they are how the plant absorbs the foliar nutrients. If they are closed it doesn't do nearly as much good, though still some. With compost tea you would at least be putting an invisible shield over the plant to help keep it safe from mold and pathogens and such. Check out KIS Organics website and read read read if that's your style. You (anybody) can hit me up here if you want more info: https://www.autoflower.org/threads/getting-back-to-my-mostly-organic-affair.68684/
