Hey I forgot to ask if you’ve used the 4200k in your CMH setup? I lost mine during veg and received my replacement. Planning my next grow and considering the 4200k mixed with my autocobs for veg the 3100k for flower.

Hello dude....I currently use the Philips Argo bulb which is the 3100k and I run it all the way thru veg and flower......I did swap to a cheaper bulb for a few weeks but I wasn't confident that it was UV shielded, like Philips are.....and my cat likes to sleep near the door of my tent lol....so I switched back and keep the cheaper one as a back up....if you are looking for more definition in the spectrum....Growers Choice do 4 bulbs now I think:smiley1:
.....also I forgot haha......another reason I don't swap is I don't like to touch the bulbs lol......fingerprints and marks on the glass can be bad for them:smiley1:

Spot on man. Think I’m the one that ruined my 4K bulb with finger prints and quick on/off cycles during testing my setup.

somewhere on here dude lol....I found out that the chrome/metal ring around the bottom of the glass is for twisting the bulb in, so you don't touch the bulb
....I usually use a soft clean cloth and just do a quick visual before switching on
update time......I'm struggling lads and lasses, with the FS that I split...this is because I didn't get them far enough apart and the inward pointing leaves are clashing....i'm having to constantly remove those leaves and some of the tips are suffering because of it....but this is also due to her being so stiff and stocky and her un-willingness to bend....but all this being said she is growing into a very pretty plant.....her bendier(?)sister is doing well and spread out nicely......the FC are rockin on and the tips of the 3 finger leaves are showingand more soon....

Hola everyone.....little update as a new bit o` kit has been added....this was a tip from @MrOldBoy so to him for the idea...its just basically a thermometer with a probe pushed in the top of the seedlings coco BUT.....dear readers, I am using a heated mat under them for the first time and the temp of the coco was something I really wanted to know, so I did not fry them again dude!....the twin cola FS is showing to be ahead of the bendier one, and has crowned....so not expecting much more verticals from her....the other is behind probably because of all the bending TBH....but she isn't that far behind so im not that concerned....the FC are chugging on nicely just pushing leaves up and out.....some picsfor reading
