Hi all........Christmas went fantastic and smoothly over here in Vapo's little corner of the universe......as I have those lovely, beautiful, frosty, sticky, massive(for me)Fugue Indica Special Pheno approach 80 days(2moz)....it has occurred to me that while I am trying to explain my process, I should explain my 2 stage trimming process as well...so here goes....

.............STAGE 1..........

For stage one, I remove all the fan leaves and as much stalk as is possible.....taking care not to cut the wrong stem, and cut free any buds.....next I cut off any and all pieces/fingers/half fingers, of any remaining leaves....only leaving the parts of leaves that have trichomes on them, attached to the buddiscard unwanted fan leaves and offcut pieces you have removed....as there is no trichs on these, they are no good to us.........yet!*

............STAGE 2........

Take your frosty buds now and trim as normal, keeping 100% of the trich laden trim that falls as you cut.......even for those of us who, like me, only grow a couple of ladies at a time....trimming like this is labour intensive, but if you can be bothered to do it, you get alot of good trim


*......I know you can use 100% of the cannabis plant, just haven't explored it all yet

If this already exists as a way to trim, then I have unknowingly copied it lol

Kinda do the same routine too Vapo. Throw the trich laden trim in the freezer with the intent to run some bubble one of these days.., but probably never get around to it. As long as the jars are full, I’ll just procrastinate .
After seeing your JD and FI, you’ve got some great trim to work with. Very very frosty sugars. Would make a great combo .

Yes, that way only the highest quality trim is saved. Maybe for a rainy day...empty jars. Certainly better than ditch.
Great that you had mostly bud. Looks like you are set for awhile. Nice daytime and night time strains.

you have got me thinking.......I might throw it in a jar and collect it....its not a problem to burp every day....cause the problem I have with turning it into bubble hash is that, when I run out of weed....I have nothing to smoke the hash with....I don't and wont EVER again smoke tobacco!!....so I might just give the good trim a looong cure and wrap it in a Raw when/if I run out again!!

i grew up on hash(solid as we called it back in the day),smoked a good 8 year before i got closer than a picture to a bud.solid got put in joints,pipes,bongs you name it.
nothing to smoke it with or no way of smoking hash ? a lil metal screen

can buy a pack of 50 as cheap as pack of 5 £1 if ya search a bit.

yeah very true....I'm not as inventive as I used to be and its not just my choice to make.............anymore!
