Indoor Vapo's Vivisection section.

Happy New Year AFN and :thanks:to all my amigos and señorita's who make this a place of harmony and growing.... :jump: ....OOOOOOOOKAY, new-year-new-fear for the plants here in Vapo's Vivisection Section....this is where we are at for my ladies, enjoy these beautiful ladies with your beautiful eyes AFN....:jump:
First up is Sawney's FSxDGxPoTG....she is beautifully spread now she is coming up to the finish...wk12 and clean water start on Monday...

Second up is a warrior queen 💪... Sawney's CDLC x Sour Stomper...she has got me hooking her down everywhere, I didn't think I would manage it with her as she slipped her hooks a couple of weeks ago and stiffened her stems up overnight.....:wall:.....but as you can see, I managed to pull her around and she is gorgeous.....

Lastly is CDLC x Sour Stomper(2).....this leggy lady is taped up at the centre with my trusty foil tape, one side of the knuckle looked a bit loose, so it's all hands off now, I like using the foil tape for multiple reasons....it's strong and supportive to weak/snapped nodes or stems without using much, it's sticky as f**k too....but the best bit about it is it doesn't stretch!!....so when one of my "snapcidents" happens, I tape her up and the plant itself, tells me when it's ready to come off :joy: bcoz she will begin growing and snap the tape, making it easy to remove too....Noice!

That's all for now AFN, hope you liked my first post of 2025, stay safe AFN :watering::watering:and let's go, go and grow!!

Edit:...the one I taped in the middle.......I think I might let her just grow like she is....see what happens?

Hello AFN and a Good day to you all as well....Sawney's Blue Amnesia is my next round of victims here in the Vivisection Section....the ladies got potted up yesterday and here is how I did it....
Pic of the ladies in the bag, I left them out of the vault overnight to normalize the temp.....

I had trouble picking which to do by name, so I turned all the bags face down and choze by size...
IMG_20250105_143445587_HDR.jpg

Marked the teeny pots up...
IMG_20250105_143738153.jpg

I'm trying to do things a bit differently, so instead of filling the pots up, I filled the pot up half way with coco+perlite and saturated them with lukewarm tap water.....
IMG_20250105_143813451.jpg

Then I dropped them onto the surface of the wet coco...
IMG_20250105_144011182.jpg

Then I very gently stood the bean up with a bit of wire, I gave it a tiny push into the sodden coco...
IMG_20250105_144202059.jpg

Then I gently covered them with dry-ish Coco, put them on a heat mat, with a shot glass full of water into my little humidity dome.......but I forgot to take a pic of that but you can imagine hehe....aaaaaaaaaalso while I was messing with stuff, I was trying to get a little more spread on the Sawney's FSxDGxPoTG...and I had a snapcident...:yoinks:...yep! Split her right down the main stem, not too bad as she is flushing atm anyway......
IMG_20250105_104035511.jpg
but I saw an opportunity to test a "trick" I have seen other growers do and they claim explosive trich production, after cutting a slit in the main stem and placing toothpicks in-between the 2 halves.....it supposedly makes the plant adapt to pulling moisture through the now 2 main stalks....so I put a bit of wire between the 2 halves and a cable tie above it to support it.....

So we will see how she goes....and that's it AFN........more soon!
