Hhhmmm.....what do I like about the SB Nugz??.......it would be easier to list what I don't like about them bro, bcoz I like everything.....strong, easy to grow, tough, purple at the end and a Noooooooooooooice high......ticks all boxes for me bro......plus....plusplusplusplus!!....for some time in the two plants life's.....I will be away from them and I leave them in the care of a not-so-gifted grow carer.......so I choze SB Nugz bcoz I want a Noice high to come home to and I think they are tuff enuff for the job....and just for the record bro hehe ....I am touched that top breeders like you bother with cack-hands like me hahaha......the Nugz yesterday ...

Defo keeping the nugz going for its potential in new crosses . Plus if my grow mates like it its a keeper.
I'm definitely not a master breeder mate but I will take he compliment for sure.
I'm just a humble home breeder with an obsession and plan to create something different to grow in my tent. I have more of a reason to make new stuff now I have peeps on AFN who like my seeds.

I hope the plants survive when you are away. I'm sure the stand in gardener will do OK with the water lol

Hello AFN...... hope you are feeling good.....started off a little experiment today...I am not topping anymore SB Nugz...they just don't like it....so instead, I am gonna get creative with the leaf removal to try and open up the buds to the light.....like this .....

Yeah, the one I did top previously....she didn't really like it haha, it workz out tho bro, bcoz I have been thinking about doing a "Just-Leaf-Removal" type experiment grow for a while now, it seems to me that when canna is growing naturally, straight up, that it's obvious main goal is to make the biggest, stickiest main bud it can....to catch wind powered pollen, make seeds and reproduce....thus ensuring the survival of its species!
......along the way, canna makes multiple nodes on alternate sides of its main stem, with a head on each, with leaves to catch the light..... to power the growth of the main stem......which reciprocates by growing ever taller and producing the next generation of side stems, buds, leaves etc. etc.....but as soon as the next generation... i.e the next level up is ready, they put out their own massive solar panels(leaves!)shading the hard working underneath heads and stems, in their own pursuit of the ultimate goal of top cola and reproduction....so I am going to try some strategic leaf removal on this grow, to see what becomes of the lower stems......if they are allowed full access to the light throughout the plants life.....this means that I will be chopping some of the top leaves as she grows, to keep the fans from shading the lowers....while keeping enuff lower leaves on them, to power the growth.......I really think that the lowers, if allowed enuff light, will soon grow out long enuff to not be shaded.....hopefully making a beautiful bush o' buds........sorry for the rant dude haha but I just love this plant growing game.....and i want to try as many things as i can think of hahaha
