Technical Issue Uv/ir

Does anyone have any experience with these uv/ir supplement bars and if so can you give me some pointers or possibly a schedule to start with

The last I looked, the UV supplemental lighting of most interest involved classic long fluorescent-type tubes, not LEDs. Are the LEDs now competitive with the tubes, or better?
