Is it a better idea to use molasses with just your watering day. Or is it best to use it with other nutes. Is once a week good enough. When at what stage of the growth cycle do you start using it, and when should you stop.

Molasses should only be used as teas, (molasses in a tea gives the microbes a quick meal) unless amending soil for next year's grow. The sugar molecule is to big to be used by the plants directly, and must be broken down by the soil life to be available to the plants. Using molasses to sweeten your flowers is a waste of time, and risks killing the microbial life we work so hard to keep alive.

I give one shot of 1/2 tsp/gallon early in the grow to feed the microbes. I mix it in with nutes and use it all up that day (or it can get moldy).

The Other Benefits of Molasses
In addition to improving the base quality of the soil, using molasses to irrigate your crops can also help prevent the build-up of pathogens that will potentially harm your plants, as well are reduce salt build up that can cause nutritional problems. Molasses contains a good amount of macro- and micro-nutrients, all of which are essential to cannabis health to one degree or another. As both macro- and micro-nutrients are not required in huge amounts, it can sometimes be quite hard to diagnose a deficiency. By regularly adding molasses to your grow you can ensure your cannabis has everything it needs.

heres the link I use it in teas and also using during flower solo when I water plants to help with salt build up

Yeah, that's pretty much what I said, prepping and teas. I've fed regularly as well, that's how I was taught, but grows over years have shown a reduced yield when used as a regular, every feed, plant supplement. It's the calcium in molasses that binds salts in the soil making them available for microbes to do their thing.

I use molasses every fall for prepping the garden beds for the following spring, I just don't water with it, there are better options.

Was also taught pissing on your plant was "good" for them.... that was the early 80s... what a fun time to start learning to grow!

Advanced nutrients carbo load liquid is one finisher. Several out there to choose from, if needed.

I have used it in water for the last couple of weeks before harvest, thought it made a difference.
I wondered about other sugars i.e. fructose, maltose, and so on but couldn't dig up enough info.

I ended up with Terpinator. We'll see if the claims are true.
