Problem: Upper leaves lighter than lower leaves, sugar leaves browning, some lower fan leaves yellowing.
-Medium/grow method: soil; fox farm ocean forest
-Feed and supplements used: House and garden line: soil A & B, Drip Clean, Bud XL, & Top Shooter according to sched., Mammoth P and Cal-Mag
-Water source: RO, pH’d with drops, always to 6.5 pH color
-Strain and age: Barney’s farm zkittlez og, week 10 from sprout (day 69)
-Climate: day temp 78-80F, night temp 70-75F. Humidity ranges 50-60% lately
- Light used: LED, HLG100, ~14” from tallest buds, recently raised from 12” as I worried about light burn
-Additional info: This has been a slow progression, thought I had a potassium deficiency for awhile, then phosphorus deficiency, and then maybe light burn. Originally had some issues with lower leaves. The upper leaves have seemed lighter for a few weeks, but the upper leaves showing browning and the sugar leaves browning has been pretty recent. Any idea what’s up? I’m getting close and worry about messing it up now.

They look overall hungry to me. this is the schedule I used when growing autos with H&G in ml/gallon. the grey numbers are from H&G. You need to use the whole program for optimal results.

I’m confused by your table, are the black numbers what you gave then? I have all but the algen extract and magic green. I have been feeding her every watering for the past several weeks, she gets a full round every 2-4 days. I give full strength and follow the chart, what else should I be doing? Thanks Man

Basic over feeding which has caused certain nutrients to become locked oit (not available to the plant).. There is no need to feed with every watering in soil. The most common watering schedule for soil is feed, plain water, plain water, feed.. Signs of deficiencies dos not automatically mean "add more' of something. Too much of one nutrient will lock out others. You need to check the ppms of your run off. If you're feeding every watering, the ppms are probably in the thousands. That will confirm the lock out and the need to flush the soil until the ppms are back in range.

Thanks Proph. I don't have a way to check the ppms, but I will assume they are way too high. Should I just go ahead and flush? I'm a first timer, so still learning. I started giving her feed every watering because the every other was leaving her hungry and showing deficiencies, guess that wasn't the way to go, huh?

"Signs of deficiencies do not automatically mean to "add more".. Can't stress that enough. Looking hungry and being hungry are two totally separate things. What you where seeing was the 1st signs of lock out. Without knowing the ppms you would be flushing blindly. You wouldn't know when to stop flushing or what the new ppms are. You also won't know the ppms of future feeds and whether or not you're over doing it. I can't safely advise doing that. A ppm meter is an important device for a new grower. It's the only way you know how strong (or weak) your feeds are.

Okay, thanks. I will look into getting a ppm meter and also a pH meter.

Yes the black numbers are what you feed, the grey numbers are off H&G charts.

@Proph hit the nail on the head, you don't feed soil every day like coco.

Well crap, should I not be feeding full strength then?? I worked my way up from 1/4 strength initially and seemed to be doing fine until the past 2 weeks or so...
