Morning all. Week 5 (as of today) autos. Supersoil and haven't fed yet. Watering 6.4 ph and about 2 liters every 3 to 4 days. Hlg scorpion at 14" and 380 ppfd started at week 4. 23c and 60% daytime, 19c and 58% night time. 18/6. Good air exchange with AC infinity in and out. 2 oscillating fans. Leaves seem to be dropping and some curling up. Lower new foliage very soggy and up top leaves are papery. First run of new 5x5 tent and light and new to autos.

Thinking underwatered? Thoughts? Appreciate your time!

PPFD seems a bit light. I run that ppfd at seedling. I’m at day 40 and I’m at 800+. Not an expert, just sharing. While not super soil, I am running water only And I have HLG-600R. It appears that they have a little “claw” going on.

some of the “hitters” will chime in, listen to them. Not me. comments are made to be thought provoking.

I've never used Supersoil and don't have any idea of the density or water retention, but 2 liters every 3-4 days for 7gal pots seems a little light.
Using 5 gallon pots and a nice light, well draining mix, I use 3 liters every 2-3 days, watering slowly in a circular fashion and stopping at the first sign of runoff. Do you water pot thoroughly to a slight runoff?

I use soil in 7G bags. My soil is probably a little heavier than most. Having said that, when watered to capacity during seeding/early veg, I only water 1-2 times the first month. After that, it starts speeding up until needing water every 3 days or so.

can you check the ppm of the water?

if you've got high ppm in the tapwater, you might have:
- nutrient lockouts / low absorption because of Calcium or Magnesium or both
- killing soil's microbiome because you're potentially sterilizing the soil with chlorine

how many liters is the plant pot?
are you keeping the whole soil equally wet or just watering the base of the plant?
for 6L pot I do 1L every 2 days. during late flowering
at the vegging stage I used to put 1L every 3-4 days but watering the soil as evenly as possible.

check water ppm, see what the "base feed" from tapwater is. just because you're not putting nutrients in the water, doesn't mean distilled water is running from your tap.

I don’t think it’s excess nitrogen based on the colour of the plant. Excess nitrogen turns the leaves darker green then as it progresses they claw based on my experience. Increase your light power for sure. Also which size of pots are you using? Under and over watered plants show the same symptoms. Once you get back to me with the pot size I can probably help more. They don’t look in good shape though for 5 weeks. They look very stressed. How tight is that wire ?

A myth most people keep telling about tap water... lol If it killed microbes than it would kill your grass and plants in your garden as well as your cannabis girls. lol
