That's the nature way 3-W's .... I give mine scratching on the seams sometimes (not just the case itself) if they are old, or large seeds (makes a big diff'!)... I soak to sinking (half day or so) then sow into starter cups!It’s the best, isn’t it? For me, I place the seeds directly into my soil. So that after a few days when they pop up it’s always like WooHoo!!! We got us a live one here!!!
Warmth is huge, upper 70's low 80's... 3-4 days and they are up
I use a weak soak soln. of pure water + fulvic acid, Si, and kelp, I mean 1-2 drops here in a few oz's; works great with older stubborn seeds!
