twenty20 TWENTY20 MENDOCINO Go Go ( auto) showcase

Update #5 @Trichome farmer and @Twenty20 Adam
I've been reluctant to post - sort of hoping for a miracle or big turn-around. Fact is, this is my worst grow ever. But I'm blaming myself. I've been distracted the past couple of months, and believe that I probably mismanged light and feed on this grow. The leaves have the most bizzare malformations that I've seen.
Anyway, I'll try to catch up on postings (as embaressing as it may be) as long as they live.

These photos were taken about 10 days ago when the plants were 47 days old:

Glue Sniffer & Snow-G are a bit more respectable, but also lanky.

Your 2 gogos that look fried but aren't are something that I had with some of mine.. I didn't let them grow out.. Adam ran a batch and identified that as a bit of an issue with a few from the batch.. only 1 of my 4 made it but thats my luck.. it was nowhere near that in the batch the breeder ran. Pity its gone south on ya.. head up and we go again :vibes::smoking::thumbsup:

Don't entirely blame yourself on the strange Go-Go's. We have noticed that deformity now with a few other folks that grew it. We are trying to figure out if it is a sensitivity issue or some type of genetic mutation. Needless to say we will be doing further testing on future generations until we figure it out. We're already running the next generation now so we should be learning more in the coming weeks.

Yes for sure. We are trying to get to the bottom of it. Our numbers were low but we did have some in-house and it seems like there were mixed results with the grow-and-show batch.

@Twenty20 Adam -- thanks for being so open and honest with us.
I'm sure there'll be plenty of cultivators here who will help test the next generation.
:bighug:

I'm just counting the days until I cut my girl.
I think she's day 80 from popping the soil now.
But will wait a bit longer as the weather is still rain-free.
Signs of any rain, and I'll cut -- not risking damage from the UK rain at these temps...

Auto Go-Go -- Day 78

Whole life outdoors from germination, all organic.
20210828_120333.jpg

She has greens, yellows, reds, purples, and indigo in the mix!

20210828_120338.jpg

Fragrance is very nice, a little fruity fresh, quite strong, but nothing that strikes me as unusual.

20210828_120347.jpg

Only a couple of white pistils now, lower down.

20210828_120354.jpg

And her little sister is just starting to show some trichomes.
Quite different structure, little to no stretch.
Her fragrance is floral, more like a Northern Lights cut I had in the 90s.
20210828_120442.jpg

Also doesn't have the thinner leaves like the older girl.

Twenty20 Mendocino's Go-Go update for today Sprout +41 Days

Now I am the first to admit that my growing skills are sadly lacking with autos but I am learning as I go. I look at the plants you guys grow and then look at mine and it shows me I have a lot to learn and that's okay I am enjoying the learning process. So this Go-Go girl is bushy with large leaves. Not what I've learned is known as a high bud to leaf ratio. If this were a photo plant I would be in there with the scissors thinning out the foliage to allow more light penetration as well as airflow. I am NOT doing this because the majority of the growers on here say it robs the plant of valuable solar panels that also work as sugar storage units. I want so bad to snip off about 12-15 of those big leaves but if it's better to leave them then that's what I'll try with this plant. Her pot is getting pretty light so she will be fed and watered tomorrow. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Join me in saying a prayer for those who will be affected by Hurricane Ida.

She finally started flowering around Monday which was a welcome sight. Here are a few photos I snapped this morning.

Great looking outdoor ladies you have there! I'm really stoked you grew them outside in the UK. Cheers!
