I ordered from Herbie's once...the first time. After that, my bank called and told me that my cc# had shown up on a list of potentially
hijacked card numbers and that they were closing that acct# and issuing a new number and card to me. So I can't speak to whether
they targeted the business specifically or just the fact that it had happened on the other side of the pond. Since it's technically
smuggling to sneak something past customs into the U.S. I didn't feel like inquiring any further

But yeah, if the card's not working, it isn't because of Herbie's....it's because of the bank/cc issuer and you will experience the
same issue with any of the seed banks. (That are in another country) unless you personally call and green light it.

I had a hell of a time ordering seeds too. Prepaid cards, CC's, scared to send cash, etc...so as a last resort I figured out BitCoin. Ordered from Gorilla and got 20% off because I paid with BitCoin. Then another 5% off with a coupon code they gave me. Good luck dude, the struggle is real.

My debit card is visa and I have not had any problem except for a short time that Attitude was not working with my card. I have ordered from most of the popular seed sites with out problems. If all else fails you could buy some bit coin and order with bit coin.
